They’ve got the right idea but don’t quite pull it off the way you’d hoped.

It may not be a surprise to you that I love timber. I am a carpenter as well as a builder and cabinet maker, and I think timber is the best material ever I love the grain of the timber, the individuality of the colour of each plank, as well as the density of each type of timber.

Oftentimes I don’t get to see the house finished, styled and furnished. As a builder, I get to come in and do the things that clients can’t do, like knock down walls, extend rooms or add a pergola out the back. My clients often like to organise the finishes themselves, like the paint, carpet and blinds.
